WHY

• We are facing a litter crisis and the time to act is now. Our highly consumerist society generates about 2.12 billion tons of waste annually, and with a population of 8 billion, our carbon footprint has never been larger. Littering is not just a bad habit but a symptom of a lack of awareness and education that damages our environment and wildlife. It is our responsibility to make a difference and preserve the planet for future generations.

WHAT

• Welcome to CSFN, your social media app for trash picking. You can effortlessly manage your cleanups, connect with volunteers, join groups, take on challenges, report illegal dumps, track your progress, and share it on your social media. Our goal is to promote healthy habits and environmental conservation through litter picking. This is the app where you can build your own community of litter warriors.

HOW

• Our platform was created BY litter pickers FOR litter pickers. Before jumping into this endeavor, we assessed all the existing apps and instead of creating another data-oriented app, we focused on being 100% USER-oriented. We designed it to be easy and quick to use so you can concentrate on the important task at hand. Our app also incorporates gamification so you'll unlock levels as you progress and will be able to contribute to reforest land the more you clean up.

HOW can I use the app

1. Go outside, fill up a bag of trash.
2. Take photos before/after your cleanup.
3. Post your cleanup including the number of bags (Lts/KG), location, and participants.

WHAT can I do more

• CHALLENGE: Participate in cleanup Challenges for a greater purpose. For example, planting trees. Challenge yourself and compete with others for a better planet.
• JOURNEY: View all your past cleanups in a timeline with statistics on how much trash you've collected, when, and where you collected it.
• TAGS: Tag friends who joined your cleanup; the amount of trash collected will be automatically split equally between them by the app. You can also tag a group to show respect and contribute the total amount collected to that group's global counter.
• LOOK: See everyone's efforts on a global litter map and enter their profiles. You can see photos, the number of bags collected, and the number of participants.
• GAME: Enjoy a fun and interactive experience with our gamification feature. The more you clean up, the more you'll discover endangered animals.
• GROUP: Expand your local cleanup group by sharing your QR code and inviting others to join on social media. You can be the umbrella that gathers all the efforts from each member.
